Divide Your Screen into Multiple Zones
Kitcast offers a powerful feature called Zoning, allowing you to divide your screen into multiple areas, each dedicated to displaying different types of content. This feature is especially useful for creating dynamic, visually engaging displays tailored to specific events or campaigns.
What is Zoning in Kitcast?
Zoning lets you assign different parts of your screen to specific widgets, ensuring diverse content can appear simultaneously in a well-organized manner. By default, Kitcast uses the "No Zoning" layout, where each widget fills the entire screen sequentially. However, with Zoning, you can divide your screen into multiple areas, creating a richer and more dynamic visual experience.
How to Access and Manage Zoning
To find and manage the zones of your screen:
- Navigate to the Playlist you want to edit.
- Switch from the Widgets tab to the Zones tab.
- Explore the available layouts for Zoning and screen Transitions.

- Add a Video Widget showcasing a festive Christmas video to grab attention and set the mood.
- Top Smaller Zone (Area 1):
- Use a Tasty Widget to display a delicious Christmas recipe. This can encourage engagement and interest from your audience.
- Bottom Smaller Zone (Area 2):
- Add an Image Widget featuring a GIF with a Christmas market announcement. This can highlight key details, like dates or times.
When you’ve set up these widgets, all three zones will play simultaneously, each displaying its content in the dedicated areas of the screen.
