# HD & 4k Support

With Kitcast, you can easily create engaging content and display it on Apple TVs that support the App Store. Specifically, Kitcast is compatible with HD generation and 4K generation Apple TVs.

- **HD generation Apple TVs** can display HD content but not 4K content. If you're using an HD generation Apple TV with Kitcast, you'll need to ensure all your content is in HD format, as otherwise, content may freeze occasionally.
- **4K generation Apple TVs**, on the other hand, are capable of displaying both HD and 4K content. If you're using a 4K generation Apple TV with Kitcast, you can add and display 4K content. However, if you add HD content to your 4K generation Apple TV devices, content quality on the screens may vary.
