How to Report a Technical Issue

If you’re experiencing technical issues, follow these steps to troubleshoot and report the problem to our Support Team:

Steps to Troubleshoot Before Contacting Support

  1. Ensure Your Kitcast App Is Up to Date

    • Open the App Store on your Apple TV.
    • Search for Kitcast and check the button next to it:
      • If it says “Update”, tap it to install the latest version.
      • If it says “Open”, your app is already up to date.
  2. Send Us Logs (If the Issue Persists)

    • Grab your Apple TV remote control.
    • Press and hold the Play/Pause button.
    • A prompt to send logs will appear on your screen—confirm to send them.
    • The logs will be automatically sent to our server.

Contacting Support

If the issue persists after trying the steps above:

  1. Reach Out to Support

    • Initiate a chat using the button in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard.
    • Alternatively, email us at support@kitcast.tv.
  2. Provide Detailed Information

    • Include:
      • Your Kitcast registered email address.
      • The Device name experiencing the issue (mention if you sent logs from it to help us locate your logs).
      • A detailed description of the issue.
  3. Attach Relevant Files

    • If you have any files that could help us understand the problem (e.g., screenshots, photos of error messages, or videos), please attach them.
