Display your events and schedules directly within your playlists. Here’s how to set up the Google Calendar widget, add it to your playlist, and share your calendar for collaboration. ### **Adding Your Own Google Calendar to Kitcast** #### **Step 1: Connect Your Google Account** Before adding a calendar, make sure your Google account is connected to Kitcast. Refer to the instructions in [this article](https://knowledgebase.kitcast.tv/connecting-instagram-twitter-x-google-microsoft-and-dropbox-to-kitcast?hsLang=en) for detailed steps on linking your account. #### **Step 2: Add the Google Calendar Widget** Once your Google account is connected, follow these simple steps: 1. Navigate to the **Kitcast dashboard**. 2. Select the playlist where you want to add the calendar. 3. Open the **Widgets** section. 4. Set the duration for how long the calendar should display. 6. Choose your connected Google account from the list. 7. The Google Calendar widget will now appear in your playlist. --- ### **Sharing a Google Calendar with Kitcast** If someone else needs to share their Google Calendar for display on your Kitcast account, they can follow these steps: 1. Open **Google Calendar** in their browser. 2. Go to the **calendar’s sharing settings**: - For a detailed walkthrough, [visit Google’s support page on sharing calendars](https://support.google.com/calendar/answer/37082?hl=en) or [go directly to the sharing settings](https://calendar.google.com/calendar/u/0/r/settings/calendar/primary?card=sharing). 3. Under **Share with specific people or groups**: - Click **Add people and groups**. - Enter the Kitcast account email address. - Set the appropriate permission level. - Click **Send**. After sharing, the Kitcast account owner will receive an email invitation to add the calendar. They need to click **"Add this calendar"** in the email to complete the process. Once the calendar is shared, follow these steps to display it: 1. Go to the Kitcast dashboard. 2. Choose the playlist. 3. Open the **Widgets** section. 4. Search for the **Google Calendar** widget. 5. Select the shared calendar from the list. That’s it!
